20-Year Commercial Guarantee of Durability

Corona provides a 20-year commercial guarantee of durability, at no additional cost to the customer and covering the entire product.

This guarantee is provided by the manufacturer and applies to the product’s ability to maintain its required functions and performance under normal intended use for a period of 20 years from the date of delivery.

If, during this period, the product fails to maintain its required functions or performance under normal intended use, we will repair or replace the affected product without charge, subject to the conditions set out below.

Intended Use

Corona bathroom accessories are designed for indoor use only.

They are not intended for exterior or outdoor installation, or for use in environments or conditions outside their intended purpose.

Products must be installed and used in accordance with the supplied installation instructions.

Care and Maintenance

Corona stainless-steel products should be cleaned regularly using non-abrasive cleaning products and a soft cloth or sponge.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, steel wool or aggressive chemicals, as these may damage or contaminate the surface.

The corrosion resistance of stainless steel is based on a naturally forming passive chromium-oxide layer. When the stainless-steel surface is clean and exposed to oxygen, this protective layer can naturally renew itself.

Deposits, contamination and cleaning residues should therefore not remain on the surface for prolonged periods. Regular gentle cleaning helps maintain the conditions necessary for natural re-passivation.

After cleaning, remove cleaning-product residues where appropriate and wipe the surface with a clean, soft cloth.

Glass Components

Glass components are covered by the commercial guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Breakage, chipping, cracking or other damage caused by impact, dropping, improper handling, incorrect installation or other mechanical damage is not considered a durability failure under normal intended use and is therefore not covered by the commercial guarantee.

Replacement glass components are available separately as service parts.

What the Commercial Guarantee Covers

The 20-year commercial guarantee covers the entire product against:

• defects in materials;
• manufacturing defects;
• loss of required function or performance occurring during normal intended use;
• failures affecting the durability of the product when it has been correctly installed, used and maintained.

What the Commercial Guarantee Does Not Cover

The commercial guarantee does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from:

• exterior or outdoor use;
• incorrect installation or installation contrary to the supplied instructions;
• use outside the product’s intended purpose;
• misuse or improper maintenance;
• abrasive cleaning products, abrasive pads, steel wool or unsuitable or aggressive chemicals;
• prolonged deposits, contamination or cleaning residues resulting from inadequate maintenance;
• mechanical damage, impact or accidental damage;
• breakage, chipping or cracking of glass caused by mechanical damage;
• modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons;
• normal cosmetic changes resulting from use that do not impair the product’s required function or performance.

These exclusions do not limit any statutory rights that may apply where the product itself is defective or does not conform to the contract.

Making a Guarantee Claim

To make a claim under the 20-year commercial guarantee, please contact us and provide:

• proof of purchase;
• the product name or product reference;
• a brief description of the issue;
• photographs where appropriate.

We may request additional information or inspection of the product where reasonably necessary to assess the claim.

Where the claim falls within this commercial guarantee, repair or replacement will be provided without charge.

Your Statutory Rights

This 20-year commercial guarantee of durability is provided in addition to, and does not limit or replace, your statutory consumer rights.

Consumers in the European Union benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by applicable EU and national consumer-protection legislation. These statutory rights exist independently of the Corona commercial guarantee.
