What is Corona made from?
Corona combines premium AISI 304 stainless steel with high-performance ABS-PC engineering polymer. Each material is selected for the role it performs best. Stainless steel provides exceptional corrosion resistance and durability, while the engineering polymer offers excellent impact resistance, flexibility, and resistance to heat and household chemicals.
Why se engineering polymer?
Because it performs better in those applications. Our ABS-PC engineering polymer is a high-tech material widely used in demanding industries where strength, durability and dimensional stability are essential. It allows us to achieve greater precision, longer service life and improved everyday performance.
Are the finishes durable?
Yes. All finishes are engineered for long-term durability. Our powder-coated surfaces provide excellent resistance to scratches, impact and everyday wear, while the stainless steel finishes maintain their appearance for years with normal care.

Specification of 18/10 Grade 304 Stainless Steel – 20-Year Warranty
The properties, material quality, and manufacturing technologies used in our products enable us to provide this 20-year warranty.
Our accessories are manufactured using virgin plastics (non-recycled polymers with guaranteed composition and quality), high-quality powder coating, 3M™ VHB™ 4950 adhesive tape, and corrosion-resistant stainless steel produced in accordance with standards that ensure strength and durability in humid environments.
Stainless Steel – 18/10 Grade (AISI 304)
Grade 304 stainless steel, also known as 18/10 stainless steel, contains approximately 16–18% chromium and 8–10% nickel.
- The chromium content provides excellent corrosion resistance.
- The addition of nickel enables a mirror-polished finish and increases strength and durability.
- When exposed to oxygen in the air, chromium forms an invisible, self-healing passive oxide layer that protects the surface against corrosion.
This warranty covers only the Grade 304 stainless steel used in the product and does not extend to the 3M™ VHB™ 4950 adhesive tape.
The tape is designed for long-term performance and durability; however, its service life depends on environmental conditions, temperature, and the condition and preparation of the installation surface.
The tape must be applied to a completely dry and thoroughly cleaned surface. Firm pressure should be applied during installation so that the tape's 1.1 mm thickness can compensate for minor surface irregularities and ensure full contact with the mounting surface.
Maintenance Instructions
To maintain its corrosion resistance, stainless steel must be kept clean so that the protective oxide layer can continue to self-passivate.
Do Not:
- Clean stainless steel with chloride-containing products or acids, as they may damage the protective oxide layer.
- Use abrasive cleaners.
- Use iron brushes, steel wool, or harsh chemicals, as these may scratch, damage, or dull the surface.
Iron particles left on the surface through friction or contamination may oxidize and cause rust staining over time.
Intended Use
Our accessories are designed for installation in bathrooms and other sanitary facilities.
Our warranty obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of parts or complete accessories found to have manufacturing defects. Repairs or replacements will be carried out by the distributor or, where this is not possible, by the manufacturer.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover defects arising from the following circumstances:
- Defects resulting from dropping, impact, scratching, misuse, abnormal force, or improper use.
- Wear, deterioration, or damage caused by inadequate cleaning or use outside the intended purpose.
- Failure to follow the installation or maintenance instructions.
- Failure to provide proof of purchase.
- All pumps and their mechanisms are excluded from warranty and guarantee services, as numerous factors beyond the manufacturer's control may affect their proper functioning and appearance.
- Detachment or failure of the 3M™ VHB™ 4950 adhesive tape due to installation conditions, surface characteristics, or other factors beyond the manufacturer's control.
Tape Installation Guidelines
The 3M™ VHB™ 4950 tape performs best on smooth ceramic tile and glass surfaces.
Avoid Installation On:
- Uneven surfaces
- Painted walls
- Laminated doors
- Other low-adhesion substrates
For optimal performance, apply 3M™ Primer 94 to the mounting surface before attaching the tape.
The bond strength of VHB™ 4950 increases over time after installation. For best results, wait 48–72 hours after installing the accessory base before attaching the accessory and placing the product into service.
